The event was well attended and very enjoyable.

Karen Ross, President, thanked everyone who came along and enjoyed the day which raised £200 in support of Thames Valley Air Ambulance. A special thank you was given to our greenkeeper, Mence Steffens, for preparing the green. It is still the best green around to bowl on! 

What a day! It was great to see all of the rinks being put to good use for our sunny Big Bowls Weekend 2025 / Open Day.
Many members came along with family and friends keeping all of the coaches very busy for the afternoon.

Jas, from Bowls England, presented Charlbury Bowls Club with a plaque which acknowledged Bowls England’s financial support for the building of our clubhouse extension.
Jas was very impressed with our set up. Junior Academies and Dementia Bowls are high on Bowls England agenda and was interested to learn about our community outreach, and will be keeping in touch.
